Anyone getting a bug where when NS2 starts and you go to Server Browser you can't click on anything?

Was told to start a thread about from the bug thread.

Basically I start the game click Play and once the server browser comes up I can't click anything anymore. Mouse is able to move around but nothing is clickable. I have to restart the game every time this happens. Other people are having this problem as well so its not an isolated incident. Sometimes this happens consecutively and becomes really frustrating.

    As a workaround, have you tried opening the console (with ~) typing connect <ip> for a server you know?

    We have zero information on this bug, and cannot reproduce it.
    There seems to be no common element between people having this problem.

    Any changes between windowed and fullscreen by chance?

    Last patch introduced the same bug for me. It only occures occasionally. On another system (nearly same hardware) it occures every time.

    This started happening when the gather /matchmaking button was introduced to the main menu

    Also, it isn't just the browser. it happens when opening the mods section too.

    you are guaranteed to run into this bug if you enter and exit something multiple times. but it's very inconsistant. i hate it when noone on my friends list is in a server, becasue i run into this bug 3+ times before i can actually use the browser.



    Oddly enough, never get the bug when useing the menu while in a game.

    pro tip: use the retry command (connects to last server) then use the disconnect command to stop connecting, then try to open it again.

    that way, you avoid restarting the game.
