My game is unplayable - crashes to desktop upon attempting to fire weapon (can sometimes get one shot off, but subsequent rounds fired cause crash). Terminal output here - http://pastebin.com/j5P4SreE
My system is running Mint 14 Cinnamon x64, Intel i5-2450M, 4Gb RAM, nVidia GT630 (via Bumblebee). Kernel is 3.5.0-47-generic, nVidia driver is 304.116-0ubuntu1~xedgers~quantal1
Edit: A gdb dump of the crash shows:
Edit 2: Updated to nvidia 331.20-0ubuntu1~xedgers~quantal1, behaviour is the same.

My distro is Xubuntu 13.10 x64 (Kernel 3.11.0)
Phenom II x4 810
4GB RAM
GeForce GTX 670 (334.21 nvidia blob)
I'm a bit reluctant to swap my kernel out, and I'm planning to jump to Mint 17 pretty much as soon as it comes out, which can only be 5-6 weeks away...
I'll update once I've done that, one way or the other
Setting texture quality to low does not help.
Distro: Linux Mint 17 Mate x64
Kernel: 3.13.0-24-lowlatency (3.13.9)
CPU: FX-8320
Memory: 8GiB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770; driver version: 337.19
I can gether more information / test more things / etc. if needed.
Im using KDE.
The interesting thing is, that ns2 doesn't segfaults all the time.
If the kwin's composite effects are enabled (normally I start ns2 with composite effects disabled Alt-Shift-F12)
the game sometimes works fine.
Unfortunately this workaround does not work all the time.
But maybe this fact is useful to find the bug.
Conclusion: It segfaults about 95%, but not always.
