Black screen

Hello
Sry for my english. When i try to start my game i see black screen then i see "debug report" window, when i open task manager i see ns2.ex not responding. I tried everything o fix it but nothing helped. I played this game on this pc before and now i can't launch it.

    For your info.. your logs showed more errors then just ns2!
    I pasted some into the translator, but it didnt get me much further.

    I went to natural selection 2 folder rightclicked on ns2.exe click proporties and run as admin and it's working now :D

    unless you screwed with read/write settings in either your steam or your profile that should never be needed.
    ns2 runs without any form of administrator access needed, just fine.

    @rollsky‌ did you perhaps delete your system_options.xml? By deleting the file NS2 reverts all setting to default, thus this often helps when the screen is black on launch.

    No i didn't i just reinstalled ns2 this didn't help so i went to steamcommunity forum and they said to launch this game as admin so i did it and it's working fine now

    I will however repeat myself..
    You do NOT need to run ns2 as admin to make it work. IF you need to run it as admin, you have a deeper underlying problem with your system or the folder(s) ns2 stores the game and it settings.

    Sadly I can not say what because we lack the info required atm. Checking the security rights on both folders wouldnt hurt though
