In case somebody doesn't know yet, you can also use the console to spawn a seamoth - so you don't have to miss out on any fun until its fixed again.
- press F2
- write spawn seamoth
- press enter
Yes, but as we are unable to press any keys after clicking on the constructor, we are unable to submit a bug report ingame, that is why this is being posted here. otherwise how could we let the devs know? everytime the game is updated with an experimental build, I test it again....thats what 'bug testing' is all about.
What can a constructor do in the game atm?
Spawn Seamoths.
What does this bug do?
You cant press any keys after using the constructor. -> You cant use the constructor -> You cant spawn seamoths that way.
Is this bug reported trough this thread, twitter messages, pns and by ppl who filed a bug report ingame after a game restart? (*)
Yes, possibly, possibly, yes.
Are the keys stuck even after restarting the game?
No they are not.
So why did i post the console command?
Until the bug is fixed, ppl that want to test (or just want to have fun - because we can) the seamoth, can just use the posted console command to do so.
I don't think everyone knows that there is a console -> i made this post, because i believed it might be helpful to somebody, finding this thread after having this bug.
* You dont need to report it when it happened, and you dont need a screenshot. Its 100% reproducable everytime -> easy to replicate for devs.
Koruyo, I dont know you, I dont know anything about you and I have very little interest in you to be honest, so much so that I see no reason at all to even remotly insult you or question your intelligence.
You on the other hand believe you have a right to question mine?
I realized it was worded like an insult, so i quickly (actually far from quickly enough i guess) edited it. (so you already started your post, and ofc didnt see it.)
Sorry, I really didn't mean to.
edit: I know its annoying, but as a non native speaker i do multiple edits pretty frequently, most is still not a work of art - but hopefully read/understandable.
Not a problem and thank you for the apology. A close friend of mine is also a non native English speaker, she usually writes what she wants to post then re-reads it at least four times before posting, if she is not sure she also runs it through a translater or puts a quick note on the bottom of the post stating she is not sure of the wording.
It can be very difficult to convey the 'mood' or 'context' of a written sentance or in posts so misunderstandings do happen, even to people who have the same first language

Unable to use bug report or any keys still, complete lockdown and facing wrong way on boarding the constructor
- press F2
- write spawn seamoth
- press enter
That's the thing, you can't press any key when you are using the constructor. You can use your mouse but that is about it.

There were quite a few reasons why I didnt do that, thanks. I suggest you re-evaluate your thinking processes, have a nice day.
