I can only see about 180 servers(browser refuses to load any more) how can I increase this? keep in mind that in many other games I can see about 2000.

I wouldn't worry, I also only see around 140 servers, even though it looks like there's at least 509 total servers with active players on them : http://hypernovadesign.co.uk/nanogrid/
It may be culling the results based on latency..
But if you are worried still:
Check your filter settings up top while in the server browser.
something typed in the search box, % chosen for performance, "has empty" "passworded" etc. all have an impact on what's going to show for you.

Hmm this is just a guess of mine but did you look at steam -> settings -> ingame -> ingame max pings/min and tried to see what happens if you raise that?

Try lowering it instead?
Honestly I have no idea why some show up and some don't.. I tried to look into this about a year ago when i was tethered on a 4G connection.
I would get different server results when I would use the 4G connection versus using the wired internet, despite the pc not moving etc.
Might have something to do with NAT restrictions *Shrug*
lowering it wouldn't do anything. The max pings is steams restriction on how many game servers can be pinged at once. Like i said for other games I get 2000 severs back as a return. I would really like to know why servers just randomly disappear to. That's why i asked here.

Well there's only 500 active servers anyways so I don't know where you're getting that 2k from
And yes lowering it helps some users who use shoddy routers that are sensitive to flooding, and even though it probably won't change anything it's easy and worth a try. (it helped me with my 4G problem previously)
I don't have an answer why all playable servers don't show, just a hunch, which is that it's filtering by latency. (i dont see 500 ping servers for instance, but I'm sure they exist) either that or is your network configuration
I am sorry man, It just irks me when people don't read the entire post.
I read your entire post. You didn't use any commas, didn't bother capitalizing past the first letter, and had some strange phrasing. That made it extremely easy to misunderstand exactly what your intended question / meaning was.
Regardless, you had two members of the CDT in the thread attempting to help you. That's why their posts are in blue. The rudeness was really unnecessary. Appreciate you apologizing to @IronHorse though.

There are servers that i am not seeing that yield better ping. The damn thing has some sorta limit and I would like to know how to raise it.
Also looking at http://ns2servers.devicenull.org/index.php there are not that many server left! I myself also only see ~180 servers.
So how do you know about those other servers?
I have already done that, my pings in steam is set to 5000.
