Ns Makes Me Involuntarily Yell And Scream.

<div class="IPBDescription">I think I've figured out why.</div> I get sort of this weird involuntary reaction when playing NS; I yell a lot. I don't really do it in many other games (Counter-stike and Science and Industry being the prime exceptions), and I hate it. Since my home has some pretty paper-thin walls, my sister and mom hear me, and it pisses them off and makes me really embarassed, since I'm usually pretty quiet and self-contained.
But enough about me; I think I've figured out WHY I do it!
1) Marines crouching, when I'm aliens. Those hotboxes sure aren't fixed, and it makes me angry when a croaching dilhole kills me. Over, and over, and over again. And it's usually not because he's a particularly sharp shooter, because I can deal with that. It's because croaching gives him the ability to absorb about 5 bites, for really no apparent reason, which makes the early game pretty damn unfair. This is largely made better when I get carapace, but because that usually takes at least 15 minutes, there's around 10 minutes of some hardcore "BULLSH|T!!!" screaming which I JUST CAN"T GET MYSELF TO STOP DOING.
2) Bunny-hopping marines. Combined with the limiting bite-cam of the skulks (which I won't complain about, because I'm fine with it), bunny-hopping is another incredibly lame way of marine evasion. I bite at someone, he leaps over me and completely evades the attack (HOW CAN THEY JUMP SO HIGH?!). I leap at him next time to counter his little dodge, and he all-too-nimbly jumps to the side, which confuses the heck out of me because of my bitecam. By now, I'm dead.
3) As marines, having a long game drag on after we take two hives. It's really the built-up affect that annoys me enough to the point of yelling. Usually, your commander spens all his resources building the hive bases, while all the aliens use theirs to destroy them. I have no armor upgrades, no weapon upgrades, and no new equipment, and they have level 3 carapace skulks and lerks terrorizing our bases. The game just won't end even though the outcome as decided 20 minutes ago, and the skulks still kill me just as easily as they did in the early game. Usually makes me cuss out the commander for being a slow idiot.
4) A sucky marine team, when I'm commanding. When I see a group of six marines, I expect them to be able to kill a bunch of skulk rushers pouring down some long, thin, gun-friendly corridors. When they don't - repeatedly - I tend to get mad and either mumble "You all suck," frustrated, or I yell it. Depends on the overall amount of suckiness.
5) As a marine, and especially as the aliens, being killed out of the spawn. I can accept it more as marines, since the skulks have to be close-up, but as an alien, some guy can just sit in the corner shooting off his little gun and I can't do crap about it. I hate it.
Well, just found it interesting. 1-2 are both exploits that really need to be fixed. 3 - commanders, please, keep your marines in mind when you command; strategy in NS isn't all turrets and phase gates. 4 doesnt happen very often, but when it does...ugh. Get some aim, people. 5 - meh. Not much I can do about that, except the ask the aliens and marines to keep some better defenses =).
Anybody else here scream when they get PO's at NS? Why?

I never really get annoyed, just frustrated when you know what needs to be done but people are just running off in single file to get killed. And am I imagining things, or can aliens not respawn from a hive that's under attack? I can see the reasoning behind it, but it's damn annoying when everyone's dead and you're not allowed to try and defend your one remaining hive
=D. He even refused to give us an armory as punishment even though the game just started and nothing had happened yet, it was pretty funny.
During the rush i killed like 2 skulks with my lmg then another with my pistol then I luckily knifed one and he was still mad at us!
We lost, but i got a good laugh when he said he was yelling at his monitor.
--edit-- I do get frustrated when I get killed because my fellow marines dont know simple strategies. Like When theres 3 marines, I say "I'll cover the right corridor, you cover the left and you build"...*3 secs later, I see a marine crouch next to me. "..." *2 secs later* We're all dead.

FYI, I don't actually ever take out my anger on actual players, which is good. I don't have a voicecomm, so I couldn't actually yell at anyone, and I never type my anger out unless I get really angry. And even then, you can't tell; I'll say stuff like "Soandso, you are beginning to make me mad." I guess yelling at the screen is just my way of venting rage, though I wish I had a better one.
Wonder if this is something like road rage. You know, turning your normal well-mannered geek into a violent, loud psycho. "Game rage"...heh, wouldn't that be interesting.
For me its quite simple. All it takes is one player to ruin the game for me. Those n00bs that go gorg or comm. It gets annoying fast and rather easily one bad player can ruin the fun for half a dozen others.
Its not fair beacuse n00bs a re needed but if they only RTFM! id be a lot happier ns player.
Even worse is the know it all l33t players who build sensory chamber for first hive. AARGH! Hang on here u had 79res waiting by the hive with no skulk defense no OC or DC up and u died and nwo the mariens have phase camped the last free hive>><!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->? Excuse, nice amount of walls of lame and huge number of res, well done. But incedently did u bother securing a hive? !!!!!!
-Skulks cant be everywhere and they can die fast, OC early rox, add DC and hold those damn hives, its a pub game not a clan game!
