Hi, I bought Natural Selection 2 a few months ago and I haven't been able to play the game. I boot up the game fine, but when I try to load the tutorial or sandbox, the map is loaded, but it crashes when it's done loading. I've seen other complaints from linux users concerning this issue (or similar), but none have had a definite fix from what I've read.
I've tried fixing this problem by turning all my graphics down to the minimum, but to no avail. I have already verified the game cache, and reinstalled the game. I have also tried different kernel versions, all of which failed.Unfortunately, I haven't found the techsupport file in the Natural selection 2 directory. I have tired the open source drivers, as well as AMD's proprietary drivers.
Xubuntu 14.04 32bit

I tried opening it with abiword, but it failed at 98%. Is there another application I'm supposed to use to open it?
Also, I'm not seeing the image you posted.
Also. This sounds identical to what I experienced. I posted my logs over at...

Unless i'm mistaken, ns2 requires opengl 3.2 core profile, you only have 3.1 as stated in your logfile.
