Improving the commander interface

So, game now big than shooter, i think, commanders need some HOTKEYS:

-- selects all units some as selected on Screen + on Map (in C&C Series is a key_E, and key_double_E);
-- select closest command station (basic strategy is key_H - Head Quarters)
-- adding ability buttons at corner of the screen (it's a scan, it's a power surge, distress beacon)
-- and strongly need add some differences at minimap icons. Maybe geometry? Circle, triangle, quadrat, triangle_with_quadrat, star, and some others.
-- and please, add difference before automatic_waypoint, and commander_waypoint, my soldiers think it's automatic

    ** PROTIP Double click on a structure to select all of the same type on screen.
    There's never (very rarely) any reason to highlight ALL the structures on screen as they mostly do very different things; the only actions shared by many structures are recycle and move. Dragging to highlight tends to be perfectly effective for this as far as I've experienced. I wouldn't say NO to this shortcut but I dont think it's necessarily needed.

    **CTRL group binding as samus mentioned above. Why on earth you'd want to hotkey your comm seat I do not know, however.

    Decent players will stress the importance of getting good at CTRL grouping important structures- not just for beacons but also for researching without having to stop the med/ammo shower

    ** Agree. Or even better, remove automatic waypoints so rookies stop building un-needed powernodes because the game tells them.

    So, i really know, what i can do sometimes with the problems, what i have.
    But what can do with this problems the developers?

    All good strategies, what i play, have the bindings, said at up.

    1. Select nearest command station (maybe distress beacon needs move to CC, but requesting observatory to use)
    2. Select one marine and KEYBOARD key to select all-in-screen (mouse clicking - is heavy-to-time decision), and all-in-map some structures/marines/drifters/macs (its seriosly needs)

    3. Key, what i can push, if i needs CANCEL the running action (distress beacon, upgrade, building ARC's), this key maybe same as RECYCLE key, because you can not want to sell in-progress building - you previosly Cancel, and again push - Recycle the building.

    holy shit i have commanded for months without knowing this










    also i love using pings, and i love that alien com has 3 pings, but i wish it had even more and i wish marine com had more than only 1 to choose from
    and without having to click marines and then click within 5mm of something on other side of map, because aint nobody got time fo dat

    If you commanding european players, you dont know, what difficult to commanding russian stupid bears.
    Commander must always cry, or fully shut-up.

    Its one reason to improvements. You can do something fast than all, and select all, and give more waypoints, and do this again, again and again.

    maybe something did been in the army?

    Added:

    (so commanders want select all Robo-factories on map and create Arcs in all at some time with one rally-point)
    (commanders want select all observatories at one key with SHIFT + CLICK feature)
    (commanders want to select closest command station to screen for create distress beacon)
    (commanders want to select one marine and double clicking some key, what they be now selected all, and give him one waypoint)
    (commanders want to use force-move and force-attack waypoints, and they must be different)
    (commanders want for their waypoint be different from automatic waypoint system)
    (commanders want to buy the weapons and save it in the armory, without dropping, ability)
    (commanders want to have icon at top-left screen, what fast-click to Scanner and to Power Surge, and to Nano Shield)
    (commanders want to turn off fucking PG, and can place 2 pg at strongly waypoint and turn one off)
    (commanders want to cancel the distress beacon without recycling the Observatory)

    i think.

    I know that half the players consider themselves to be the strongest in the world and will be here for hours to write that everything can be done in 4 steps, and do not need to change anything.

    But for God's sake, add features and be surprised how much more would be good commanders, which is not difficult to command.

    If I had it, I'll do the same action faster than you, and the only goal UX-UI design - is to do everything to help you play the game, but did not force her to get used to.

    @gzhegow‌ why dont you just learn the existing shortcuts for all the things you listed. You will become a better commander
