net_loss command was added many patches ago. I tried it out today thinking it would be a way to monitor loss since net_stats only seems to show choke, and it did nothing. Anyone know what it's for?

net_loss <value> simulates a given percentage of udp packet loss. Meaning the udp packet handler just starts dropping a certain amount of packets per second with net loss set.
I do not recommend to use this in any way in a real game !!!
Missing of expected udp packets is btw the meaning of choke? Normally this indicated some kind of network (specially sometimes missing bandwidth) issues.
