Seamoth mechanical arms and inventory

Am I the only one that finds it a bit tedious that you have to get out of your seamoth to go grab some materials.

Also I'm certain that half the time in the deep areas that the pressure would kill your character, and the danger of pressure is sure to be implemented eventually, perhaps the seamoth could have mechanical arms that would allow you to grab materials and store them in a small storage bay in the seamoth?

When you dock the seamoth to the cyclops it could transfer the materials to a locker in the cyclops as well.

I have mentioned this many times on various discussions. There will be a mech that has hands for which you will be able to pick up things. The seamoth is meant for speed and quick exploration.

I would love to be able to access the player inventory inside the seamoth, though. Seems weird that you can drink and eat outside of it but not inside.

Clearly, the upholstery is expensive. Plus, getting bits of dead fish stuck in the gear shift has been a problem in the past.

Accessing the inventory makes sense. I completely agree.

I doubt this would be added, because it would make the SeaMoth a completely different beast, gameplay wise. Rather than a transport, exploration and get-away vehicle, it would in effect become a fast, armored diving suit. They may have plans for something to take up that function, but I doubt the SeaMoth will be it.
I just wish you didn't feel like you got turned around randomly every time you leave it :p Make the character always face the same way as the SeaMoth, and with the bottom of it in view. That alone would make it much easier/better to get in and out of it quick to pick up stuff.

Yeah, the first thing I do when getting out of the SeaMoth is spin around in circles trying to figure out where it is. Would be nice if the seamoth was in view... or we just always got out on the same side and facing the same direction relative to the seamoth.

Agreed. Exiting the seamoth is disorienting.
