It's very true that we spend too much time for collecting basic resources like Titanium, Copper, Quartz and Salt.
As one of the important goals of Subnautica is to research around(and collect rare materials), the fact that we constantly spend our time for grabbing those things and crafting so basic things which we've crafted hundreds of time could be kind of annoying on some stage.
Why not let us then make a good cuty Robot which collects a certain kind of resource around certain area?
While we are traveling around, the robot stays within 200m around landing pod or somewhere where we put them to collect either all remaining quartz or copper or titanium instead of us, till we come back from the exploration.
This will firstly make us save our time for doing same things all again and again
Secondly it will let us to have more basical thing to craft for several times(if a robot can only collect one certain kind of resource permanently.. so that we should have several robots for collecting different things), but which isn't just repetitive basical thing but actually very advanced thing.
