I am gonna start to build my first hive room soon and so on. Screens are from the marine spawn and
the hallways that goes to the first hive that comes soon.

Research lab on planet (somewhere), marine training facility and abandoned pumping station next to it. In here marines were trained and of course the research lab is for researching and experimenting how bacteria works and how kharaa can be wiped out of the universe. The research lab was supposed to be highly secured, but one day something went wrong and some of the aliens got free and started to infest the research lab area and the whole lab was full of bacteria soon. All the researchers were killed and only few marines in the training facility got away with the escape pods. Later on the Frontiersmen were called to investigate what happened here. They found out that the safety system was malfuncting and that some of the safety doors were out of order and the bacteria had infested the whole training facility and the research lab. Marines will have some little mission to make most for shortcuts like welding broken doors or sealed corridors and it will not affect the gameplay much. More will come!

But that screen looks a bit empty and ... opened.
The research lab could do with alot more computers, and plenty of infestation textures and flickering lights and fallen support beams and ceiling parts.
You could have big **** glass tubes filled with a green liquid and use the particle system to drip down green goo from the ceiling. (Gives you the feeling of looking up and WHAM! Down comes a skulk! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )
Also, don't be shy to mix up your floor texture and break it up some more. Gives a nice feeling of detail.
Hm...You might be thinking of my map, tentatively titled ns_fathomless, now tentatively retitled ns_erebos?
The overall impression from your gallery is that is has some definite potential. Fairly solid architecture and texturing, the red light does a good job adding some contrast. My main complain is that there should be <i>more</i> contrast, mainly in the lighting and texturing.
Since this is the marine spawn area there obviously shouldn't be too mainly patches of darkness, but I feel everything looks a bit too, well, overlighted. You could help this by brightening the light_spots and toning down the textured lighting, or removing a few lights entirely. The texturing is decent enough, but could be helped with some more variety. Although that nos_grate is a great floor texture, it seems a bit overused here--consider breaking it up with other textures on the floor. And in the shot with the fallen pillar, I'd consider using the same wall texture for the side of the pillar, instead of that green stuff.
I'll be interested to see where this goes!
wpoly count is 250 average so I can add much more stuff and play with the lightning. Of course I was planning so that the Lab area is textured with that Gray texture and little bit more bright lights then I will get darker and metallic stuff to pumping station area and of course infested textures to hives. I thought makeing the 3th hive something like power generator and it can be welded to give more lights to abandoned pumping station but not too much light so that skulks can crawl the ceiling or something. And of course the floor is boring atm but it will be much like that in the lab area and NOT the whole map. =)
