Perils inside the ship

What perils should the player encounter when exploring inside the sunken ship fragments? It appears some may have large air pockets, so cannot support regular sea life.
- Mechanical perils like electricity, radiation, collapsing debris?
- Ship animal life (escaped from the terraforming pods)?
- Alien (local) species that have begun to inhabit the ship?
- Zombified/irradiated former shipmates? - JK. Please no!

I feel leaning more towards the environment.

    Like
    - collapsing debris
    - Hull breaches with rapid water intake
    - Electricity, radiation
    - Timed events (perhaps for accomplishing certain variables, or else you sink with the ship or something)
    - No oxygen in the ship in most areas (it got burned up in fires etc), so managing of O2

    Malfunctioning escape systems..

Computer AI ship control malfunctions (original cause of ships engines to overload) identifies you as a hostile threat and attempts to drown you.. Or just make you not living.

Massive ship board replication systems create infinite amounts of complex chemical substances that have perilous effects when mixed or exposed to an electrical charge...

Gravity drive engines, which took heavy damage begin to warp the hull of the ship and start to alter the mass properties of the surrounding ocean causing intense cavitations. Time being gins to alter from massive gravity flux in pockets and causes advanced decay from the seawater.

We discover in the memory systems of the ship some of the possible locations that other passengers might have landed...

Attempt to reach the eternal main communications array proves extremely hazardous but needed to work on distress call systems.

One of the Trello cards indicated that animals would try to attack you inside the Cyclops. I'm not sure if that meant creatures outside would try to get in or if creatures released inside would seek their revenge, but it is something.
