I should try drawing some things....
Perhaps you could start including some fictional vegetables for them to add as well, instead of using earth seeds.
so far I only used subnautica creatures/veges...
oh almost forgot the secret island stuff... lots of mushroom types to use
Probably more than just mushroom types. Maybe some of the flowers and stuff too, humans sometimes make dishes involving flowers so...

Creepvine pocket stuffed with - something - fish and mushroom perhaps? Good as a snack to take when going exploring.
I spent a few hours yesterday searching for seaweed-based cuisine (pics mostly, so the imagination can do the rest), I can't really draw though, your drawings are amazing Tarek, but I came up with a page of scribbled recipe ideas. Here's a few more for general consideration:
Smoked/dried seaweed salt with those delicious fried boomerangs.
A tube-worm-type mollusc could give us dried tubeworms (I saw something like these on a recent trello post). And seaweed pasta with tubeworm sauce.
Fishy dumplings in a simple broth with pickled seaweed garnish.
"Crab" cakes (an alien-crab creature), also good for taking with you on exploration trips. And seaweed patties - boring but practical.
I hadn't thought about the glowing fruits on the creepvine, but that's an excellent idea. I had been wondering about how to work in some sweeter things, they might make nice jellies or puddings, or any number of other delicious deserts.
