My computer began turning off randomly when I was playing subnautica after the update. Then my computer couldn't restart properly and took me to a system repair screen that told me it could repair the issue by uninstalling programs. After that subnautica didn't shut down my hard-drive, yet there was no terrain or seabed. Previously I had experienced the problem posted on the home page and installed MSVC++, only to have this to happen to me.

A'ight and what should you do if you can't even get past that warning screen that pops up if something isn't up to par (like my GPU) I used to be able to play fine before this update.

I'm having a problem with the game black screening and then crashing without warning but I don't get a hardware warning message and my specs (GTX 970, i5 4690k and 8 gig of ram) far excede the minimum requirements and I have looked at the forums and I'm not the only one could this be because of what this article covers or is it a separate problem

    FIX:

    1. Go to ...\SUBNAUTICA\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2013\
    2. Install vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe
    3. Restart computer.
    4. enjoy ;)
