My comparison to amnesia was to show how in some games the enemies are not supposed to be killed. Killing an enemy in certain games takes away the fact that they are to be feared and/or respected. So instead of killing a reaper leviathan you should carefully avoid it. Killing it could give you a sense of power that may take away from the game.
Also big powerful weapons would do the same thing. Killing should be available but as a last resort and should not be the better option when deciding if you want to repel that big scary monster in front of you base or murder it.
problem is u cant "avoid" it ... cause its one hit and u die kinda thing its faster than u it can go through Terran it always knows where you are and unless your in the cyclops your dead meat
I find it funny you all haven't figured out Stasis rifles do work on the Reaper. They work like...REALLY well. Charge the thing up, aim for the head, and it's locked. Always works for me, but it is so large, small and medium Bubbles will not work. So before any of you label the Stasis as ineffectual, go actually use it.
well looked at that place that had models that are being used in Subnautica and I found these... so maybe the devs haven't completely written off "some" lethal weapons for defense. But who knows if they'll make it into the game or not.
