Should be considered a serious bug
I am pretty sure many marine commanders out there have experienced it on NS_Eclipse where you wan to siege Computer Core or Eclipse Command but only to find that you cant even upgrade the turret factory because of that map concering I think with the map brush entity or something like that.
There have been many games when capturing the second hive at CC or EC, i plan to siege it instead cos smart aliens teams would had been able to hold us while enuf to get defenses in it. But then i see that i cant even sisge it cos of that map bug and have to tell marines to kill it by hand when resource wise i am not that ready to hand out hmgs, gls and HAs to make teh job easier.
Sure many would say maybe that I should have rushed teh second hive earlier or I shoudl have teched fast enough to give gls and hmgs. BUt dont you think it is not a normal part of the gameplay to be considering a section of a map unsiegable? I mean if I needed to take that into consideration then the NS team might as well take out teh siege weapons. are there for a reason. And aliens just have an unfair advantage just because one cannot siege from there.
Because of this I think that the map bug and similar bugs that exist on other maps should be fixed as soon as possible and not when the next client patch is released or something (unless it can only be fixed through a client patch).
Right now my only solution to be able to siege in those areas in Eclipse is to
1. The 1st building in that area MUST be the Tfac
2. Once it build upgrade it immediatly
3. Build watever rest is needed
Now this is slow and most of teh time i prefer to put a phase gate first.
I hope to hear some opinions on fixing this big asap and maybe your suggestion on how you go around this bug.
Thx.

I can't wait.
i guess i never saw it cos I rarely go on read the mapping forums. Though I'd hope teh map designer would at laest put out an temporary eclipse map with the bug out (if it is at all possible). Liek i said before it shoudl be considered a serious bug and either get fixed asap or just taken out of gameplay till it is fixed.
