ideas and suggestions

here i have some few ideas, the list was longer but i saw that some ideas had already been proposed.

General changes

-open inventory when driving: often, when i'm exploring in a seamoth, I feel the need to check the inventory, and to do that I have to get out of the vehicle and this is a bit annoying.

Base module

-greenhouse: I'd like to be able to grow food inside my base, exploration is fun but better be self-sufficient. Aurora was a terraformer base then surely it had some seed bank inside her. obviously the greenhouse would have to consume a large amount of fresh water.
-acquarium:because fish go bad quickly, the easier solution is have a place where keep them alive, and maybe breed.
-glass doome: it would be nice to have a 360° point of view, certainly simple glass isn't enought so i suggest the Enameled Glass for this module.
-infirmary: a module where, at the cost of a little energy, you can heal yourself.
-control room: a place where a giant talking computer for the "welcome aboard captain", and maybe for for the control of the lights and turrets.
-desalination module: I expect that in the future we will have preserved the current knowledge on how to survive at sea for long periods.
-air production module: it it would be nice if the base is to be built initially on the surface, to stock air directly, and only later it should be possible to make a base in depth with this module.
-enrichment chamber: I think this may be the "must have" module, it can increase the production of quartz if it was built in depth, so players would be inclined to have at least two bases.

Energy sources

-windmill: It should be placed out of the water and produce a constant but small amount of energy
-wave: this is a system that is also used in the present for produce energy.
-underwater currents: this is similar of a windmill but in the deep of the sea.
-cables: if we have to build at least 2 bases it would be useful to exchange energy with each other.

Items

-bed: probably has already been proposed, I do not think I have to explain what it does
-anchor: although so far there are no current, it would be nice to be able to anchor the vehicles, just to give a sense of security.
-compressed air tank: or if you prefer regular scuba tanks
-compressor: essential to create the scuba tanks. Again,in my opinion, it would be smart to make sure it is used only at great depths
-robosandshark: I would love to be able to build robots similar to sandshark, they could check on the seabed to find helpful resources.
-boa: I do not know if it goes well, it might be more practical that we can put an object in depth. I think it would be useful to have a fixed container where sandshark can deposit the materials found.
-rope with weight: to go quickly down, it would be useful to have an opposite object to air bladder.

Add on the aurora

-seeds room: since it was a ship for terraforming I suppose that, in addition to us, also contained various types of useful plants to create a stable ecosystem on the plant chosen. I suggest you add the ability to find some useful plant to eat. certainly without a greenhouse it will be impossible to cultivate.
-IA room: I do not expect anything less from a spaceship as the Aurora. It would also explain the voice that greets you every time you enter the base.

vehicles

-super giant robot: I'd like to be able to walk on the seabed, at times seem to see the roads under water, so the idea of a robot that does not swim but walks look good to me. obviously it should be very large and heavy, and what's better when you are attacked by a giant monster of a super robot armored? I'm not sure the ability to attack is necessary, the resistance would be enough.

All for now, I have tried to be brief, in case there are ideas already proposed I apologize.

Damn. Here I was creating an account to suggest adding a greenhouse ;)

Anyway, another useful piece of equipment would be an elevator shaft. Ladders are all fine and dandy but soo last century. Besides, wouldn't it be awesome to have part of your base under the ground and part over the sea level?

Also base clutter such as chairs, lamps, desks or such would be welcome (well, more towards the end of developement probably, but still!).
