Hello Everyone,

I made a gorgeous Underwater City (Nicknamed " Rapture " just like Bioshock's famous city).
Check that out, that will surely inspire the builders within you ;)

About 3 hours a day, for a week (5 days)...but i used the cheats othewise it would have taken me like a month or more.
And i don't even know if there would have been enought titanium and quartz in Subnautica's whole ocean anyway, lol.

I tend to prefer smaller bases, but I like the idea of using the creepvine seed clusters for illumination.

That is a thing of beauty.

Your city is really cool. I like it. I'd never take the time to build something like that; it's awesome that others do.

How is it not exploding? So much glass 0.0
    Anyway, this is pretty awesome.

Yeah, it is beautifull but useless...considering the more practical aspect of the game. It was more of an aesthetic and creative exercice,
plus there are fake buildings, lol, like a nuclear power plant and now i am creating a repair bay for Cyclops Subs...

Bravo bravo! That is a beautiful creation. I love that people are taking this to another level. Not just game mechanic. As a true artist does, takes the materials on hand and makes something you want go look at. I would spend some time taking that scene in first hand if it were possible.

Duff, my english is not perfect, what do you mean by '' taking that scene in first hand '' ?

If SN let you place lights (glowing/spot), this would look amazing

Hope we get exterior floodlights and the ability to customize interior lighting from the standard white eventually too.

Yeah, i tried to add Creepvines (for their glowing yellow bulbs) with the ITEM and SPAWN debug command...but it won't do anything.

Oh, and i just shared my saved games with an user here and tought some of you might also wanna visit the city in person,
so here's the link to a zipped file containing the saved games : http://www.filedropper.com/savedgames

Haven't read the rules of this website yet...hope i am not doing anything wrong here..but i guess not.

Oh, and you'l notice that some things aren't finished yet, like the escape tunels to the sea, right next to the brand new Cyclops repair bay,
and some ladders in some structures. Now i wanna create an artificial lamps by filling observatories with those pink jellyfish...

wouldn't it be cool if you could get to a point in game where you could salvage technology from the aurora to clone humans and start an actual city (since your mission was to scout for colonization anyways) or even create a satellite that contacts your homeworld to send colonists to the planet.

Yeah, i was thinking about something like that...but in my story, you have to create bases deeper and deeper while using stealth and technology in order
to defend yourself against bigger and bader creatures, in order to get rare materials and search for and study ancient artifacts to create a technology advanced
enough to create the " Aurora-2 "...well not as big as the first one but enough to get the hell out of that beautifull but empty (of your own kind) planet.

You know, go back home and go downtown to get a good-old cheeseburgers with fries and a coke...after a while, sushi and algae diet can get you homesick...
