i found a island that had a perfect view of the aurora, lots of caves, and even a few plants, only problem, the wild life. surrounded by pirranahs and crawlers and the occasional reaper leviathan this place is deadly, it is in front of the aurora on the side of your pod, am i the first person to find this, so much for only 1 island, this is only a few beaches and a cave system but its still a island, right? am i the first explorer or has this been discovered. it is an ok spot for a creative mode base but not for the other modes. if im first, do i get to name it?????

In the wiki it's called the "mountain island" and it is part of the "mountain biome". Actually it's one of my favorite spots to put my first base down. I use the beach for solar power and the underwater caves as nice starting points to build my base modules into. Nothing beats a Moon Pool in a cave hideout.
