Water looks terrible after H2.0 update

Hey everyone, I started having an issue with the water quality after the H2.0 update. Basically, the surface of the water is very blocky and I can't figure out why it is happening. I have tried started the game on minimum, recommended, and highest and it has the same problem every time. It's almost like the water is set to the lowest possible setting possible. I tried looking for a water setting by pressing F3 and I can't find any.

I'm running a AMD R9 200 on windows 10 64 bit.

Any help would be appreciated!

Dunno whats happened there. That isn't what H2O water looks like for sure. Are you sure you've actually updated?!

I have the same issue...the update seems to have a few problems, and the water surface is one of them. I also noticed that the blueprints and the icons in the fabricator are fuzzy and out of focus. So don't worry, you're not alone with this issue.

Feel better to hear that I'm not the only one, but it sucks because the updated water looks incredible. :/ I'll try reinstalling through steam to see if that makes any difference. Also, yes, I updated the game today.

UPDATE: I reinstalled the game and still the same issue

Looks like a reduced polygon effect due to having the graphics setting set on minimum. Recommended has a reduced effect and high (experimental) has even more reduced.

I have the same issue with water and blurry icons. On experimental branch before de H2O update the water doesn't had that problem, can't say the same for the blurry icons. I've noticed if I use the f3 options and select textures to 4 the icons are ok but the water's issue still remain.

Same problem, whether minimum, recommended or highest graphics quality. Is there still no solution? Or we can make manual settings? GTX970 GeForce 364.51, i7-3960X, 32GB

And what about size of RAM and which VIDEO card you have? I have this game on 2 different PC: on 1st 16Gb RAM and GeFoce GTX 970 and on it all just perfect, and on 2nd one I've got 4 Gb RAM and GeForce GTX 950 and i have a same problems with polygons on water and wieving of intreior details (like a instrumental panel in lifepod - too big pixells and image of instruments "blurred" to unrecognized confition) with good quality of shining and refraction on metal or plastic surfaces in same time

P.S. detail of surrounded rocks surface too very bad on 2nd PC

I've got 650 and it works fine on all settings, 650's are only about 30-70 dollars.

I think here the problem as in my case - TOO low (8 Gb, better 16)
I think those polygons use RAM memory - not video

Now i tried an FPS Limiter. I use Bandicam with 60 FPS-Limit. And now i have no Problems with the Water Surface - no Blocks. Thats the Solution for me.
