Bioreactor fuel

Currently a rotten fish, kelps, fruits etc. are totally useless. So maybe use it all as bioreactor fuel?
Bioreactor may use not only creepvine samples, but all items that prone to rotting and decomposing
It may looks like a 2x2 slots storage (similar to water filtration macine or fragment analyzer). As soon as you you put in one tree mushroom sample and three suitable items, it starts to produce energy.

Actually, rotten kelp can still be used in any recipe where kelp is required. A Med-Pack made with rotten kelp is just as good as one made with fresh kelp.
But yes, do throw out your old stinky fish.

    Indeed, a diver reel and a med-pac.

BTW, it would be nice to see some sort of refrigerator or another storage witch prewents a decomposing.

Cure it with salt. In the experimental version I believe there's more salt spawns than there were before, so this is a viable option.

I agree with this, though I think different choices should have different charge speeds. Maybe the fish should have to be decomposing, so you have to kill them and then wait a bit, but they produce energy quicker.

Curing with salt is a viable option, but only for food. And what if, for example, i want to deliver a hanging fruit from floating island to my seabase to plant it?..

I find it's easier to keep the fish in lockers (When they're still alive! They won't die or decay) and then cook them when needed.
