A bed would definitely add realism (obviously real people don't run around doing stuff 24-7), but given the speed that time moves in subnautica, having realistic sleep requirements would turn the game into a massive chore, so it's easy to see why they didn't do that. So a bed would be a pretty cosmetic thing, just like the desk/chair are. But they gave us a desk/chair, so some sort of bed is probably not out of the question.

Its a hotel room room I think. A very expensive one.
