  As long as multiplayer isn't manditory. It should not stop other people from playing singleplayer if they want to. That being said, the devs have already said countless times that multiplayer isn't one of their priorities right now.

  I think everyone wants multiplayer, including the devs... but it is not that easy. You have to consider that the development team is not big. So you can be glad if new content comes every now and then
