Can't Find Moon Pool Fragments

I started a new game when the new update came out for Subnautica that added improved VR support (I Never Want To Bother With VR) and I was trying to find the moon pool so that I could charge my seamoth as the cyclops is something I want later down the road. When I tried to actually find it near the entrance near the grand reef, I just found a bunch of fragments that should not be there. They apparently changed it so that you can only find these parts in wrecks now but my seamoth can barely reach 225 meters so I can not get to the grand reef wreck or the kelp forest wreck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The moon pool fragments are not in wrecks. I found them in about 230 meters of water in the Grand Reef underneath the floating island.

They are not easy to find, it took me almost two game days to find them so show up with food and water.

You'll take your sea moth to 225m and then swim down from there. Be very careful. It's easy to loose the sea moth even with it's beacon.

I also found the nuclear reactor fragments and the thermal plant fragments.

Yeah grand reef. Depth varies greatly. Was just there now scanning them.

It's possible to get the moonpool (plus nuclear reactor and thermal plant) just using fins, a seaglide and a couple of oxygen tanks.... and a little patience. Though obviously easier with a seamoth.

On the latest experimental build I've been finding MoonPool fragments in the Mushroom Forest.

Last I checked (i.e. last Saturday) they were still in the grand reef biome.

I found mine at deepth between ~250 meters and 425 meters, along with Nuclear reactor fragments. I did it all without a sub, just 3 improved tanks and the improved fins + baldder. When I grew tired of going up and down all the time, I used the "portable base" trick where you build a section of base and a hatch to catch your breath but I guess that's over now since you need power for O2, so you'll need a lot of patience.

The real issue is that you find a lot of Terraformer fragments in the mix (maybe it changed with the last patch). For every moonpool fragment I found, I had to go through 5-10 terraformer fragment... that was a real pain.

I think they fixed the terraformer issue, because I only found them on the underwater islands when I started a new hardcore playthrough yesterday.
