A few suggestions

So I think everyone has his/her own Ideas how a game should be like, and in my opionion Subnautica has a lot of potential to be even more awesome than it already is.
I played now nearly 70 hours, and think i probably explored around 90% or more of what is to be found, so after a while i got these ideas, and i would like some of your opinions.
1. A kind of story: for me it was always a little weird, we escape in a lifepod, it's supposed to keep us alive until we get rescued. So why can i craft everything? I think in a lifepod i should only be able to craft the really necessary things, food, water, a knife, maybe the scanner (or the scanner in the little supply box). Everything else you have to scan, find or download on your pda from a wreck, to update the lifepod, make everything we can craft in the game so we have to scan it, explore it by finding, analyse it with a computer. Of course people would need way longer, but for me it would have a higher survival factor.
2. For me THE question is: Is there Intelligent life? We learn the Aurora was probably shot down, as well as the other people from earlier mission. If there is, where? at this point i would like an intelligent life form as in the book The Swarm.
3. Staying with creatures, I think there should be way more. First, the ground for me looks dead, where are little crabs, worms, spiders, things that live on the ocean floor. Maybe a turtle creature. Endless possibilities
4. Every time i reach the surface, I see this sunny sky, big ass moons, clear night ... we are on a giant, ocean planet, with a giant moon ... where is the rain? how about a storm rampaging over the surface, maybe with a hurricane, also gives another excitement to survive, can your base hold out the storm? And i think everyone probably knows that the moon effects the tides on earth, so give the moon some "power", i want to see giant waves!
5. One last thing to the world, there are a lot of caves and cave systems, i have been in most of them, the only thing i didnt see was a cave filled with air. I will just assume for a moment that the planet in subnautica has tectonical plates as well as the earth, so its possible that the planet reshapes one in a while, with earth quakes (add those too, make the planet a little unstable, and you would have to reinforce the base to make it earthquake proof) back to the actual idea. I would like to dive down into a cave, explore it and suddenly reach air. Just to have a variety of caves.
6. I always get a little bit annoyed when i search stuff with the Seamoth. Finding something>getting out>collecting>storing it>getting in>driving 5 meter>and repeat. I would like as an Upgrade module for the Seamoth and robotic arm. so you can collect and store things without getting out of it every time.
7. Okay i have to be honest, i stole this idea from futurama, but i would like if it would be possible to connect different bases with tubes. so you could fast travel between them with an elevator like thing. this of course would need lots of materials to build the tubes between two bases.
8. If i remember everything right, it was said in some log that the Aurora was a minig ship, of course there would be some scientists and labratories too, but we have that, so i would like a mining room or tool, let me explain how the room would work. Normal room with big machine in the middle, one tube to the left, one to the right. The machine would suck in sand on the left side, filter tiny pieces of titanium and quartz out of the sand, blows out sand on the right side. so kinda like the water filtration machine, just for titanium and quartz.
9. So this is my last point for today, but for me personally the most important at the moment.
I would love more, different types, different purposes of rooms. At this point there is the Multipurpose room (as the name kinda says it you do everything in this), then there is the Moonpool, in my opinion brilliant. then the observatory, nice idea, used it a lot, but no real need for it.
So my ideas for different rooms would be:
1. A big Multipurpose room. Mine were always filled immediately, i need more space, just building another one is an option, but we could also make it bigger.
2. A labratory, where you have all your science stuff, dna analyser, or small tubes from the bottom to the ceiling, where dead creatures are inside to experiment on them (humans are cruel), just make it look like a labratory
3. An Engine room, putting your electricity engines outside is okay, but the Bio or Nuclear reactor, why not put them in a room, connect them with a tube to the outside so they get cooled, and then you can walk around your nuclear reactor, watch how it works.
4.(Already Mentionend the Mining Room above)
5. A greenhouse, a long half tube, mostly made of glass, square holes in the ground on both sides of the path, where you can put the indoor growbeds.
6. Please make it possible to tilt the corridors, not much, maybe 15%, so people can go up or down without the vertical connector (which in my opinion looks terrible).
7. A bigger Hangar for the Cyclops, either above water, or with a closing door, or again that you have to enter from the bottom
8. I read about the camera/map room, had that idea too
9. A cage to capture big creature, to experiment on them
10. A kitchen where you can cook better, not just cooked or cured, but flavored.
11. An office (maybe just adding a computer which you can put on your desk to write a journal/diary
12. I personally would love to add fittness and sanity/insanity to the game, i mean alone on a huge planet, surrounded by water, who wouldnt go mad. So to keep your fittness and sanity, build an activity room. (this one may be a little unneeded but i think the original crew probably had a blueprint for something like this)
13. A different hatch. (also not really neccessary) But at the moment i always have the feeling, whenever i open the hatch, my base must be flooded, so i would like a 2 door hatch. you get in, water gets pumped out, and then you can enter the real base. its just more realistic. other option would be like that you have to enter your base with a hatch from the bottom like in the moonpool.
Also why not being able to paint rooms and corridors in different colours like the seamoth and cyclops
Okay this was probably a lot to read, but thank you and i hope for opinions and suggestions how to make my ideas more likely to happen, or how to change them how you would like them.

Try 2 (sorry for "spamming" but opinions and discussions are important)
1) You have to scan or download every blueprint.
2) Intelligent Life => Book "The Swarm"
3)Turtle Creature, Crabs, Snakes, more Ocean floor life
4)Dynamic weather, rain, storms, waves, fog
5) Underwater Air Caves
6)Robotic Arms for the Seamoth
7) Fast Tube Travel between Bases
8)Mining possibility, a room or Vehicle
9) Different rooms for different purposes
(Longer explanations of course in the first post)

All of your ideas have been suggested already times and again in the past (except maybe your mining room, which i agree with you on) That being said you've indeed summarized most of the good ones like @RedNuii commented.
The fast travel tube is a fun idea (ive watched futurama also and loved that haha). I once connected 2 bases that were moderately far apart from each other with corridors, i wasnt on creative so i had to collect all dat titanium myself lol Took me several hours and that made my game lag as hell, but it was kinda cool
As a last comment i would encourage you to take a look at the Trello Boards as alot of ideas are often in the process of being implemented in the game in the future. In this case its not, but the site is still kinda cool
