once again - what you mean 'go up and down crazy' ? The power level on base going up and down on its own without any energy consumer like water purifier or Seamoth charge?
Which power generator do you have and how much?

I use the solar paner and about 250. by go up and down crazy I mean it doen't charge : up to 10 and drop down to 8, and just keep continue like that until reach 0 and the annoying message apper over and over again.

in addition, it only happen when I play the game for awhile

and how deep your base - i mean on which depth? Charge of solar panels depend on depth - more deeper - then less charge level.
If with depth all ok then try to disassemble base (totally) and bild anew from 'zero' in another place or a little aside. I hope it can help

I'm not sure if it's the same thing but I've seen some quirky power stuff.

When I built a base a bit away from a geyser and used power connectors, my base powered on when I was near the geyser but when I moved too far away - eg. to enter my base - I'd see the electric link between connectors snuff out and my base would lose power.

I had something similar in another base with 2 solar panels and 1 thermal plant. The base's max power kept flicking between 50 and 100. I went down and found the thermal plant sometimes supplying power and sometimes not. The temperature was always well above its minimum. I deconstructed it and built it again somewhere different and that solved the problem.

ok, let's me try to build another basement, I assume the power problem is going to slove, but maybe after a while the same problem may occur again. Who know ?
    P.S : thank for helps.

ok, it seem I have found a cause of the power problem, it's : WATER FILTATION MACHINE. the WFT is the cause make power unstable. I had destruction it and play for about 2h and the power run smothly again.
_ is that the WFT is consume power to produce water and salt ? I don't know. but I pretty sure that it the cause of power losing. ( when I build it , the power seem run up and down repeatly: 100/200; 95/200; 98/200)
_ maybe there are another thing that also make the power run crazy, just keep playing and notice.

This could possibly just be a result of the fact that the Water Filtration Machine uses up quite a bit of power, especially if you have more than one active. With 5 solar panels (for 250 capacity), if you aren't playing during the day or close to the surface, your power is probably being drained faster than it is recharging. Since the power in your base is drained and increased by specific intervals (not necessarily a constant rate), the fluctuations could be from the push and pull of your base gaining and losing power quickly.

so its a reason to add in game some sort of power distribution system. Ive got only one W.F.Machine and its successfully drain all power suply from FOUR Bio reactors to zero. as for me - its a nonsence.

I really only ever put a water filtration machine on my base when I have an army of solar panels attached to it. The machines are very power hungry. One of the things I also commonly did was make a "forward base" in deeper waters with 5 WFM in it. It would make water for me while I did other things. I could stop by there to collect the water or drop off some excess items.

Last update somehow fix this 'hungry', so my 4 solar panels lost only 50% of its charge on full purification cycle (2x water + 2x salt). But after my 'agricultural' experince I've totaly lost the necessary in using of the WFM as it is, because only ONE fruit tree can suply me by water and food.

So we've got situation here where we'll lost necessary for use good-game-thing (WFM) as an object.

DEVs! You need minimise water's content of food for keep player's needs in build & use of the WFM.

I think plants providing hydration is perfectly realistic. Those fruit look super juicy. But at least the terrestrial plants should also require desalinated water to grow. How exactly that could be done in a non-annoying way is another matter.

We must keep in mind that this is an another planet and there present an alien flora and fauna. while we 'cooking' food - its must lost all own water's content because we can 'suggest' that its toxic for human' metabolism. And we can use an alien 'food' only as a 'chemical elements supply' for our body and forget about gastronomic cravings. IMHO
