Help me ( bug with cyclop fragments ?? )

I think I have a big bug about the cyclop fragments.
I love the game, after a few videos seen, I told myself that this game deserve my money, so I bought the game. After 3hours of playing I had a problem and I needed to restart another game, this is what I did, and after some hours of playing I have everything, a base, the seamoth, a moonpool, many equipements and tools, I was ready to build the cyclop, I decided to equip my seamoth with the solar energy, and start looking for the fragments of the cyclops, I already had the engine part.
But after 4 real hours of research, I'm done, first I went all around my base between 0-200m deep, and found nothing, so I decided to look further and deeper and still found nothing, from there, I decided to look at EVERYTHING that was on the map between 0-450m deep ( even in the wreck ), and found nothing, I went to a forum, to see the biomes where the fragments were + took a map on internet, still nothing,..
30% of my playing time on SubNautica was for these fragments.
So please can you tell me, are these fragments really really well hided, or should I start a new game ? :(

- A French player who love this game but just want to build a cyclop

Are you playing on a stable build or an experimental? What's the game's build number?

For experimental builds, the locations are listed here: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2279237/#Comment_2279237 Grassy Plateaus for the hull, Mushroom Forest for the bridge.

Just checked, build number : 31322
But I don't know how to see if i'm on experimental or not, I just bought the game and launched it, did nothing more.

What parts of the Cyclops did you find already?
    Are some specific parts missing?

    That means you're on stable.

The locations of the fragments was recently shuffled around. I believe I found the bridge and hull in the grassy plateaus and near the Aurora, and the engines were on the underwater islands. Hope that helps.

I only found the engines, I can't find any other part, I remember found 1-2 hull parts when I started the game as the same time I found the seamoths fragments, but as I said, I looked EVERYWHERE, so I guess it's a bug, I will do a last check, then wait for the next update, and if there is still nothing, i'll restart :/
    Ty all for your help

If you haven't done any digging for your base (altered the terrain) I suggest you clear the cache directories. This tends to solve a lot of problems. But make a backup copy of your slotXXXX folder. If you do that, the terrain and the objects are regenerated the next time you load (and save) your game.

The cyclops fragments are all over the place but do tend to be found in greater concentrations in certain biomes. Personally I find hull fragments nearly everywhere. Bridge I have the most luck with in the underwater islands and dunes.

It's very rare - I've only encountered this in one game - but sometimes certain fragments seem to be a lot rarer than they should. I've read reports of players finding crazy amounts of them inside wrecks sometimes and I wonder if that's where they are instead of on the seafloor. But I do not know.
