New action bar, as well as miner + factorio like crafting system

So I've been thinking for a while, how the action bar would be more enjoyable to use if it had 9 or 10 slots instead of 5, since you have so many different tools to use. Also it would be amazing if you could scroll through them since the scroll bar isn't used for anything anyway.

Another thing that came to my mind while playing the game, was factorio. Now I don't want automated machines to craft items for me, since that's a bit too much. But I was thinking of a miner that works like the water filtration machine, but instead of giving water and salt it would give metals, rocks and minerals depending on what biome you use it in. So for example, to get 1 titanium it would have to run and be powered for 20 min, using who knows how much power, but enough for it to be mid to late game. So if you wanted a constant supply you'd have to set up around 20 or even more, which would be very costly, but pay off in the long run.

I've also been thinking how time consuming and sometimes a bit frustrating the crafting can be, because you keep going back and forth, spending minutes just to craft one thing that requires a lot of different materials. So if a crafting system like the one in factorio was implemented, it would make crafting a lot smoother and more enjoyable. If you don't know how that works, it's basically that you get all the mats you need to craft the final item(like a propulsion cannon), and as long as you have everything needed in its raw form(silver, quarts, titanium), the fabricator would turn it all into the right stuff, so you'd still have to see all the stuff getting crafted individually, but you would not have to go back and forth clicking on every single item to be crafted.

Maybe I'm just lazy :p but I generally think it would be something that could make the experience a lot more fun and a lot more user friendly. Because I know that the game is planned for console at some point, so I can only imagine it being even more of a dazzle having to go back and forth constantly to craft one big item. I would like to hear opinions on the matter though, and hopefully the devs take it into consideration ;)

    I mean, potentially adding a possible upgrade to the fabricator for something like that would be cool. Like, if there was an upgraded version of the fabricator you could use to make crafting easier. But besides that, changing the look of the crafting at this point would throw off the flow of the game. Yeah, it is a bit of a pain to go and craft each item, but it does make sense. Plus, we wouldn't want to get rid of the crafting system as it is, it is the most unique crafting I've seen and that is awesome!

    Also, as far as more slots goes, that would be a good idea. I don't think we would need 9 or 10, because it is kind of cool to have to manage what you have in your available slots, like resource management a bit.

    the glove slot seems pretty useless as of now since the only glove we have in the game is the radiation gloves. It could be easily replace by a ''belt'' slot. We could craft several different belts progressively better that allows for increase action bar slots to like 6 then 7 then 8 then 9 then finally 10 for the best belt in game.

    I really love that idea, with a belt to access more action slots, would add content and make logical sense. And the belt could very well be used for other things as well.
