So I have an idea for a creature, listen to this. So you're swimming into the endless depths of the ocean (the part where it's pitch black and goes on forever) and then when you get REALLY deep you see gigantic teeth
on the edges of your view, and then it starts sucking in the water around you, making it so you can't swim away and then it eats you alive. I don't really have the specifics of what it would look or sound like but I think that would be SO piss your pants scary.

Sounds like Charybdis, who in Greek mythology would create whirlpools and suck in unfortunate ships.

This could be a good "end-of-map monster." They spring up in some games to deter players from going off the end of the map, like in Spore, where if you went out to sea a huge sea monster would swallow you at a certain depth. It would be fun ("fun") anywhere though.
Well, they had a giant Sandworm in the works but I think they scrapped it.

I think Subnautica needs more leviathans. I found the Reaper a little underwhelming (although it is scary!). The Sea Emperor looks good.
    They're coming... hold your seahorses.

However there's loads of open, empty water. There's potential to create some huge creatures.
...reserved for more biomes I would gather. Plus, there's the Sea Treader on its way.

I personally always liked the idea of a creature that's enormous but largely unmoving, and you start swimming around it without realising it's a living being, not a land form.
Wouldn't the Floater Island qualify? It IS held up by giant Floaters. Although, It might be awesome if a giant Reefback had an Island on it's back; a Vanishing Isle moving from place to place.

No, I would die in real life if I even saw that, oh my god.

Even though multiple leviathans are on the way, I think something like this would be pretty neat. To be fair, since they have the capability of expanding the map outwards "infinitely" they shouldn't have too hard a time adding a new biome for a massive creature like this. But anything like this would probably take a while to implement.

This sort of creatures hanging in the limits of the map would be awesome. Reminds me Dunes :p
