Charge Station for Power Cells.

Dont know if this has been already discussed.

What if you could manufacture a portable Charging Station that can be used to recharge expended Sub power cells, the Charge station can be powered by solar panels that can only be used on land (thats the catch).

Well, there's a power cell charging station being added, most likely in the next patch. It will be an in-base appliance, powered by your base. I'm not sure your "only on land" idea would be very good - there's not enough land for that to be worth it.

But for example if you are on the floating island, and your powercell is low in either of your subs. And you don't fancy having to swim all the way back to base to grab a fresh one. It has its uses, but another way of looking at it is to remove the 'land only option'.

Keep it as a portable option when you are in the process of building a outpost, as you stated they are adding a in base option. So a portable option is viable and as its only a idea it is subject to change as time progresses. What do you think..???

You know, actually there is a seamoth solar charger, so I doubt if there's a need for a mobile charger.

As @Sounllligen pointed out, the moth can already be solar. And the clops is big enough that it's no problem to store some extra power cells on board. Plus you'd need to lug around your mobile charger, which would probably be at least a 2 x 2 if not 3 x 3 in inventory. Which is space you could just fill up with fresh power cells instead if you really needed to. And even if you're without power cell and out of power, if you're somewhere you could use a solar charger, swimming back to base might be obnoxious, but it's probably possible. The only time I'd really want such a thing is when I was plumbing the depths of the ILZ or Lost River, and there was a legitimate possibility that I can't swim back to base. And solar charging doesn't work down there anyways.
