Hunger in game ...

Hi - Really love the game but would like to play the harder mode with hunger. The problem is once you choose to do that, that is all you end up doing.
My point is the hunger is set way to high. I would love to enjoy the game while using hunger mode. Anyway that can be lowered quite a bit or maybe give
us a slider to control that rate ...

The way i see it (and i may be wrong) is that hunger in this game is an integral part of the survival aspect. Food/water being an important part of your survival, at first, but then once you find a certain island thru your travels/exploration, alll your hunger/thirst problems suddenly vanish.

If youre a season'ed Subnautica player you know of which island i speak of, if you're not then you'll find out sooner than later

Make an underwater base, build an aquarium or, even better, an Aqua Park. Put two fish in there.

Tada, no more hunger problems. Bonus points for using Airsacks, as that solves your water problem too.

and you can cure fish, so you can carry food around with you without worrying about spoilage. Once you build a filtration station, you get fr3esh water and salt for curing fish at the same time.

I haven't messed with aquariums much in game and actually hasn't realized that you can breed fish...I thought they were just there to be pretty! Super cool!

Really? At start ok, you need to survive. But first thing I do is build the radiation suit, scanner and seamoth. Then head straight for the Island, once you got a fruit sample there and the growbeds hunger away forever. Build a plant pot in my Cylops so even there I have a supply... . You just have to find the Island, that is. ;-)

Another way if you don`t know where the Island is build in your base a larger Aquarium. The fish pair you put in there breeds. Hunger solved too.
Playing this game a long time before there even were the big Aquarium and the possibility to grow plants, that was more of a challenge ;-)
