[Bug] Building Sea Base Issues

Every single time I build a Seabase, I can only build on a single axis. I can build a room, but when I try to build a corridor, I can only do so facing towards the aurora. If I try to build it facing another direction, even attempting to connect to another corridor, it stops me and just gives the red layout. It's frustrating to say the very least. Does anyone else have this issue?
