Love the game, but I spend most of my time building and would like to see some more building.

Room
-Rectangle Multipurpose Room Have a similar design as the Moon Pool, but make it as another type of Multipurpose Room. Either have the bottom a see-through glass panel or cover it up.

-Diagonal Corridor with stairs.

-Hydrogen Fuel Cell Reactor Room (Convert water molecule to energy.)

-ExoSuit Launcher Room

-Control Room (control different part of the room (turn on/off light, or other energy usage machine))

-Kitchen to make improve food and with most of the kitchen utensil

-Self Sufficient Biosphere

-Fusion Reactor

-Energy Supply Room (Store Un-usage energy for the night)

Furniture
-Bed
-Jukebox
-Table
-Refrigerator (to preserved Cooked Food/and other unwanted spoil food)
-Recharging Station (to recharge the Sea glider and Tools)*slow recharge rate, so it does not break the game.

I have to say I approve and agree with most of the ideas here, and can think of a few ways that they could be Really useful:
Rectangle multipurpouse rooms could be built off each other, joining seamlessly and creating a much larger area to build in (for example a room which could contain multiple generators)

I can't really see a purpouse for the diagonal corridor with stairs, unless you mean going up/down diagonally, as opposed to left/right diagonally. But up/down would be a much cooler way to get to different levels in a base (ladders are nice, but you kinda just skip to the top or bottom)

A Hydrogen fuel reactor sounds awsome, but a bit too powerful, maybe engame tech or needing a specialized (EXPENSIVE) room to build it? Otherwise it would make all the other reactors pretty much useless (Why build solar panels when you can have an undending source of energy at any depth that isn't time reliant)

A control room to manage the base sounds like a great idea, perhaps even do some basic cusomization like changing the colors?

A kitchen seems kinda unneccecery, as you can get all the food you need from the environment, and the game has you as a Survivor, not a settler, so it wouldn't really make sense for you to have the designs for a kitchen when a fabricator can do the job.

Not sure what you mean buy Self sufficient bioshpere, but you can build large fish tanks that chan house fish and plants indefinatly.

Fusion reactor: we already have a Nuclear reator being implemented, not sure if its fission or fusion though.

As for the energy supply, all generators (and even the relays if im remebering correctly) incrase your bases storage a bit, but a dedicated energy storage room/device would be nice.

A bed is definatly a good idea, maybe used as a way to heal without medkits? (the kits would still be useful when outside your base ofc) it could advance the time based on how injured you are (More health recoved takes longer)

A jukebox would be cool, but as I said about the kitchen, you are not a settler, and are basically running on emergency protocols, so wouldn't really fit the theme.

A table would be nice, but they already have decorative desks, and a table would be pretty much the same, just larger.

I think a fridge to keep food fresh is an Excellent Idea, as without it, the only time a player would actually make food is when they are starving, and if they have prepared meals, they have less risk of dying from starvation while cooking the meal

A Recharging station would be good, but potentially overpowered, perhaps instead of having a really slow rate (Players would just keep using batteries) why not have it convert power from the base at a poor exchange? (possibly upgradeable later in the game) this would tie into a base's energy management and make it so that the recharge is relativly quick, but has to be balanced with the cost.

Overall I think these are excellent ideas.

A fusion reactor basically runs of hydrogen.
The one we have is fission, as it runs off of uranium.
I'm sure the exosuit can fit in the moonpool.

Self Sufficient Biosphere as in this article-1345738-0CB1A7A2000005DC-296_634x482.jpg. A giant sphere shape dome where player can build a giant garden rather than just a small multipurpose room. Player would need 60 Titanium ingot and 50 Glass to build it or something. Phil-Pauley-Subbiosphere2-5.jpg

Kitchen may seem useless since the fabricator can make cook fish, but what happen if you want to combine vegetation and fish together and make it into a dish. People like different variety of food. I highly doubt that anyone like to eat plain fish day in and day out, for the rest of their life.

Diagonal corridor- Not left and right, but to different floors, Would like to see something else than ladder traveling.

Jukebox is nice, but if Dev can take music from your music library that would be nice. So player can have some entertainment or something.

Nuclear reactor is already nice, but it the future and a fusion reactor is more futuristic like the one that Tony Stark have.maxresdefault.jpg

    @hellscythe00 wow those look cool!
But the biosphere thing seems more like an entire base than just a room, and I dont just mean the size of it.
By the looks of it its basically a self contained area that maintains its own environment, but thats pretty much what the bases do too: they have a sustained temperature, you can grow plants in them (land plants in indoor planters, aquatic plants in large fishtanks), provide energy generation/storage. As such it seems more like what you build your base into, rather than something you add to your base.

I agree that combining foods would be awsome, but as I mentioned, the player character is a survivor of a crash, all the blueprints he starts with are the bare minimum for survival, and everything is is scanned from wreckage, but I suppose finding kitchen fragments is possible, from a gameplay perspective it wouldn't really do much (Player can already eat: Fish, Fruit melons, seaweed(creepvine), and a few other things). Being able to combine the foods together would be nice, but wouldn't really add anything to the game.

Diagonal corridor: yeah, a way to go up and down without ladders would be cool.

Jukebox or other music player: If the Devs add something like that in it would be cool, but I enjoy the current ambient music of the game, and again, it wouldn't add much. (Definatly enjoyable though)

As for the Fusion reactor, after doing a bit of research I have to say that it would fit Great into the game, but to quote the wiki " fusion requires extremely precise and controlled temperature, pressure and magnetic field parameters", so is not likely something that an average joe on a mining vessel would know how to build and maintain, and if a reaper attacks your base and you have one of these... BOOM.
Add to that the fact that the reactor itself would be Radioactive for around 50 years after use, leaves you with a fragile system that you would have to build in a specially shielded room which requires radiation-proof gear to even enter... actually that sounds really cool, and would be an excellent risk/reward deal: on the one hand, MASSIVE amounts of energy, on the other, potential catastrophe and loss of base. It would definately make things interesting.

NOTE: (yes I know that the fission reactor doesn't currently need a specialized room or anything like that. I just felt like being dramatic :D )
