Ultra Pressure Compensator

So I notice there is now an ultra pressure compensator blueprint in my blueprints list... but I can't actually build it. Anyone know what I need to do? Apparently we're limited to one compensator at a time now, so I kinda need an upgrade on the base model to explore deeper.

BTW loving that they finally gave Aluminum Oxide an actual use. Hoping to see similar uses for mercury, and any other previously useless substances that I've forgotten about because they're useless.

Currently there's a bug and you cannot build it. Will be fixed later on.

The Ultra Pressure Compensator's effects are not stackable. Most definitely broken.

To be completely worthwhile as a vehicle upgrade, it should be capable of withstanding the game's maximum depth rating. However, the trade-off is that the Cyclops may not be able to fit through most, if not all of the corridors leading into The Deeps.

Is it for the Cyclops or Seamoth?

Of course its not stackable anymore, wouldn't even make sence elsewise. To be fair, they want to push the exosuit and with the seamoth going down to the ILZ it would make it kinda useless.
By the way, what is the point of going down to 2000m with the cyclops? There is nothing but void.

I'll check that out! I had assumed it was something you crafted at the fabricator - it never dawned on me to check the mod station to see if I could upgrade the compensator I had already. D'oh!

Do you need to do it on board the clops, or can it be done in the base?

Doesn`t matter where the m-s is, it`s broken for now. M-s does accept all res except the module itself.

A gold one confirmed that to me in another topic.

Yeah, I checked it out. At least I can get better seamoth depth now, and I'll know where to go once they fix the bug with the clops.

If you don't want to wait for the bug to be fixed, console command "item hullreinforcementmodule3" seems to work. Then to pay for it, you can just unbuild a locker containing the ingredients.

Nah. that`s cheat, even if only bypassing bugs with it. Didn`t found much going under 900m for now, so not even worth it.
