Cannot transfer items between container [VR]

So, is this a known bug or am I doing something very wrong.
It says rightTrigger to switch items between containers/inventory, yet pressing the button when a container is open does nothing at all.
This pretty much makes it impossible to play ATM...
I'd kill for mouse/keyboard in VR.
