Something from the planet knocked the Aurora out o' the sky.
    Could it be this?
    Could it be that?
Could it be a high flying fish?

    Who knows...

Sounds like either ruined turrets in the Aurora and precursor bases or something for the creature attack update.

Pssst... this may or may not have something to do with the Sea Emperor's prison and its containment ;)

'Gating' is a game designer term for blocking the player from a location until they have done a certain task. An early example of this is a door blocking progression until player finds a keycard. In Subnautica we find gating being done with lighting (requires flashlight, and therefore a certain amount of tech), oxygen, depth, welded doors, temperature, and movable terrain. The card uses the term gating so that the developers know what the task is without giving away to the public how to get in.

Ninja edit: https://trello.com/c/Cjge5v7C and https://trello.com/c/59P7Rkqr example of them getting sloppy with the term and giving it away.

The card labeled 'exterior' shows this is an environment location. Not necessarily a biome, but likely a neat 'thing' for the player to explore like a wreck or abandoned seabase. Might be a structure with weapon hardpoints that somebody used to keep the emperor in check. Who knows! It's for us to explore in a few months!

Google 'castle turret'. Should solve some confusion.
