game crashing on load

in Subnautica General Discussion
if i attempt to load i get a darkened screen and a hard crash. if I goad from the app Icon I do not, but then the game locks on loading the save at the splash screen. prior to this i cvould get the game to load, but there were a lot of weird screen artifacts. ive tried reinstalling twice. worked once, now it no longer does. there is a blurb about how i can submit crash information, but as a steam user i have no idea where this file i am supposed to find even is. I am locked out of the game and it is frustrating.

    The crash can have many reasons, most likely some of your subnautica files are corrupt, a video driver update is required or its a problem with steam.
    I would check if you need an update if not check the integrity of the game cache.
    to acces that is go in steam go subnautica then right click on it, a menu should popup with a tab called properties, click that one.
    in the new popup go to local files and click verify integrity of game cache.

    It should fix most problems without the need to reinstall Sub,
