In-Game Screenshot Error

So I finally figured out the F11 key supposedly lets you take screenshots and decided to grab a few to add to my base. All well and good.
I hit F11 and the HUD briefly disappears, then reappears. Ah, nice! I thought.
Except there's one teeny problem; when I check the screenshots in the picture frame I see THIS.
Those aren't my screenshots! I mean, they are, they correspond to the date and time and all that jazz, but they're... blank!
When I click one this screen flashes for a minute fraction of a second (I had to spam the steam-screenshot key to get this)
For reference; I'm on Win7, using the Steam version of the game, and on the "Power Nap" version, using the unstable build.
