More construction options, more storage options, and a snapping grid for some interior things.

After playing for a good while, I've found that there are some things that might be nice:
Different sizes of "Multipurpose rooms." Sure, the current one is useful and all, but at the current size they either end up cramped or with a ton of wasted space. A few smaller variants and maybe one huge one might be nice.
Diagonal corridors. I'd kill for these. So many times they'd've made a build SO much easier.

As for storage; I'd love to have storage containers I can mount to the outside of a base, for stuff that I'm just dropping off. I know we have the waterproof one but they can still get knocked around. And I'd love to have a -fridge.- I keep harvesting fruit and having it go bad, or getting fish and realizing I'm out of salt.

As for the third part- a lot of the stuff I place (storage in particular, but the fabricator and such as well) I'd love to have at the same level at least, and and maybe with a few positions it could be placed on, rather than the freeform stuff. I know a lot of people like the freeform, but having my wall-mounted objects be at different heights because I can't seem to get them to line up is driving me slowly bonkers.

Tell me about it - my OCD wastes so many hours in my storage/manufacturing room lining up 4 lockers perfectly on each face - an optional snap to grid would be a very welcome addition!

A snap to ability is needed, so annoying trying to get things just right. Only to later walk in from a different angle and go "thats looks like ****"

I am like that as well. Its so bad to the point that i think i spend more time in this game on placement than actually building a base.

On a similar subject, am i the only one irritated that solar panels dont snap to the MP room's ceiling correctly 75% of the time? lol

I'm pretty sure that cooking a fish will get you a normal cooked one no matter how long it's been sitting in storage.
Granted, I haven't tested this very rigorously but it works after several hours at least.

yes, this is correct. As long as you don't cook the fish it remains fine in your inventory, or in a locker. It only goes bad if you cook it and don't eat it.

I get completely annoyed with anything that is not straight, or correct or right. I have tried and tried not to care, but then I walk by it, it drives me nuts, I tell myself I can get it straight this time ...

This is the exact reason i sell all my solar panels once i get a different energy source i can never get them perfectly aligned.
