<div class="IPBDescription">Who hates people abusing admin powers?</div> Anyone else hate when admins abuse their power? Yesterday I was on a server where the admin was commanding the marines, and his team was getting raped by skulk rushes. He was swearing at us a lot, and we won the game. Next game, he commanded again, and again skulk rushes decimated his team, though they did better that time. He ordered us to stop rushing, and used admin power to slay people who rushed. He threatened to boot rushers, though I don't think he ever carried out that threat. He kept saying rushing was cheap and ordering us to let the marines build. He just kept slapping and slaying aliens who attacked the marine base. We won anyway, and 3rd game he commanded again. This time, a couple aliens complied and didn't rush, while the others rushed. We were doing a pretty good amount of damage, and he was complaining and swearing at us again. However, his marines managed to expand a bit, and we expanded a lot slower than we should have, so it was about even. We pointed out that the "cheap" rushing was in fact beatable, and his team was doing fine. He left.
Today, I play a game as aliens again, this time on another server. We are rushing the marine base, and manage to kill all but 2 of their marines before they can build anything except a spawn potal. Then the admin, one *E* Not-so-grim-reaper, slays our entire team at once. People in the server, most of whom are in one [XYY] clan, start complaining. Then he activates no-clipping mode. More complaining, and I say we should report him on the forums. He boots someone else who calls him a bad name, then boots me. His squadmate, one *EI*Parasite, does point out before the booting that since it's his server, he has the right to do whatever he want's with it, and I can't get him on Valve's banlist for it. And he's right. I wasn't talking about Valve, but merely this forum. Because, by the same token, every other admin has the right to ban him on their own servers. So, boot this guy, ban him, avoid his server, or don't. I'm not gonna make a big case of it, but I thought it should be reported.
Anyone else get really **** off when admins do stuff like this? Almost makes me wish I were a cracker so I could frag their damn servers.

Step 1) Open console ( the ~ )
Step 2) Type quit
Step 3) Hit enter
Im not really sure how they did it, but this somehow exits you from the game. This is a great way, rather than complaining on the forums/server to stay away from things you dislike on servers.
Those krazy kats at vavle think of everything -- dont they?
By the way, it's a good thing to report things like this. That way, people will not go to that server, and it will turn into a cesspool and everyone will be happy.

Anyways, looking for a ns server to mod <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> . Though I havent admind a half life server for some time.
Edit:Almost forgot. Dont let just one player ruin your fun. If you like the players that are their but not just the admin, just play when the admin isnt around. Though that wont be too often especially if its the guys own server.
The admin made it up by slaying the marine team. Heh.
