My camera tilts whenever I finish a turn.

Hi! I started Subnautica today for the first time since the new patch and I noticed that whenever I rotate my character left or right the moment I finish the turn the screen seems to do a small 1-2 second tilt in the direction I turned. It seems almost like the turn itself causes the tilt and when I finish the turn the camera "settles" back to center by tilting, if that makes any sense. Harder to notice when you are swimming but very noticeable when you are in a base.
I'm hoping it's not a bug and maybe the new patch just has some new camera setting I can switch off or modify. Is there anyone else who has this issue and can maybe help me out? It doesn't sound like a big deal but it really gets annoying quick.

I find the tilting makes me seasick and I really, really want to be able to turn it off. It even happens in VR mode, which is a huge no-no.
