Bug or Easteregg?

Hello Guys,
I have something comical found. It is a green dive suit in 1500m deep. Now I wonder if this is a bug or a Easteregg. Anyway, it's a bit scary.

this was already in markiplier's most recent subnautica video. I think it's just something the devs put in for fun.

It's neither. They use it for size comparison of the player to the world and creatures, they just left it in.
