Lets talk about the diving suit for a bit, and how it seems a little outdated for the current time inside the game.
So, it is clearly the distant future inside the game. And understandably the suit you start out with is a jump suit. Now, making the other suits (Radiation, etc) is all well and good, but it still seems a little primitive for a man who can create a wall mounted device that, I can only assume, breaks down the molecules of the resource, fuses it, and reconstructs it into something else.
My suggestion is this, make a suit that would incorporate the various tools that we possess powered with a power cell. It would be able to be modified heavily. The suit would have the sea glide build into it, most likely having small engines on the back and front for thrust. For a flashlight, I would recommend having the suit have TRON like lines on it that you need to modify it in the modification station to fill it with bio-luminescent liquid. With that the glow emanating from the suit would light a small area around you and would cost no power. An actual flash light could be mounted to your helmet via the modification station.
Not sure if this has been suggested, but I just think that having normal diving suits is a little low tech for a game set so far in the future, and freeing inventory space would be a big bonus.

I love your enthusiasm, but you are actually just describing the Exosuit.
