Ok. maybe im doing this wrong but ive messed around at my own peril installing this generator just get a lousy 50 of juice out of it....Considering i sat it right on top of the lava boil rubbing my hands seing all the dead peepers (witch are quite good bbq style fetching them out with my p,gun),i was expecting 10 time or more. but noo.I hope its a glitch because its really dangerous. anyway any insights my help.
thanks...

for the thermal to work it just has to be in water hotter than 15 degrees C on your thermometer. you will be that hot already at the top of a thermal vent, no need to place them at the bottom and hotter does not make more energy.

Yeah seemed low to me as well. Basically it gives you a 24x7 solar equivalent.

It's not just a 24/7 solar equivalent, it also functions in places solar will not... at the cost of having to find those hotspots. But there are plenty of hotspots on the map. Especially useful in the deep places, since you can build a base that will function without maintenance.

Also worth noting, the volcanic vents will destroy your generators if they're too close, so don't build them right in the lava. Won't end well for you.

Well since i'm producing gold the transmitters can be streched, i installed flood lighs and took the batteries because they just don't perform well. This being said i just let them be eye candy until i attached the first relay and these flood lighs all turned on....?! i turned to investigate them but completly forgot about air...yup hardcore, does not forgive :(
I'm guessing this could fix the power drains witch end up costing maintenance time to feed these absurd generators.
anyway i'll let you guy's know when i get tech back.
