I've always loved using the Cyclops as my Main Base of Operations, and wanted to suggest some major optimizations for the Cyclops' usability.
1. The Cyclopse needs more utilities. An option to use the builder tool to integrate a Water Filtration System into the hull of the Submersible for a cost of -10 ft. Crash and Crush Depth would be the First. Second, the Submersible needs upgrades like: Builder-Constructed Solar Panels and a Builder-Constructed Nuclear Reactor. Of course, the Solar Panels would be displayed on the back of the Submersible, and the Nuclear Generator would take up a whole lot of space inside the Submersible.
2. The Cyclops has always been due for a proper Docking Port, but not the one that you'd think! The Cyclops needs to have it's own - costly - Moon Pool! But there are a few differences that need to be made on it. First, the Cyclops is maneuvered below the Moon Pool, and the Computer converses that the Cyclops is ready for Auto-Docking. The Moon Pool's many doors close, the Moon Pool fills with water, and the Cyclops comes to rest in a series of automated, magnetic arms that grab it and hold it in place. The water drains, and a small corridor from beneath the side of the structure rotates underneath the Cyclops Hatch to create a Watertight Seal. When the Player then exits the Cyclops, they walk through the corridor and climb a ladder into the Main Bay of the Moon Pool. The Cyclops leeches off of the Base's Energy Systems, and is fully recharged. Of course, not only could this be a way of making the Cyclops a more interesting vehicle, but it could also eventually become a viable Game Mechanic for future methods of building the Cyclops itself. Further customization options would also be available for the Cyclops, such as different classes of vessel. Sleeker, more sturdy designs enable further exploration of the Depths of this most unusual World, and a series of animated Robotic Arms can transform the Cyclops into the vessel for which your schematics have provided. Or perhaps even a Player-Designed Vessel could be available. The Power is Yours, Unknown Worlds!
3. Finally, a Customization Console Option for the Cyclops' Vehicle Bay. The Options are Endless! Unknown Worlds, you have blown us away before, but if you listen to us this time, you will win our Hearts and Minds. Anyone else like these ideas? Please Post!
