I've noticed that alot of escape pods call for help but when we get there nobody's home.
Could there be body debris floating around like in jaws?? I'm sure the fear factor alone would send half
the player base into panic....now that i'm thinking hardcore needs a new meter..Fear level !and if it get's too high you first blackout...then it's bloody
Heart attack (takes phisical damage).
so any dev like this?

Subnautica creatures aren't exactly the type to allow fresh meat to float in the water long enough for you to discover it. I do like the idea of skeletal remains though, or more signs of struggle.

Not a fan of fear meters in most games, though. Mostly because the one feeling fear in theory should be the player. It's okay somewhat in something like Amnesia or Eternal Darkness because those are highly narrative-based with the player character being someone with a name and history. It also makes sense in something like Darkest Dungeon, since the "player" isn't the one suffering the effects but trying to guide people who are.

Something like Subnautica though, where the player is "you", well... fear and panic are very subjective, personal things. And the game has plenty of ways to induce both in you without needing to abstract it. In fact, I would strongly recommend people with heart problems stay the heck away from Subnautica.

I agree with @Midnight_Tea, for both things. The fear metre doesnt make sense and the pieces of body floating around would make SN an M rated game. So, its not going to happen.

Nautical_Nick is right. If they don't want to include lethal weaponry, there's no way they'd put in body parts everywhere.
