The "high pitched" computer voice seems to apply to all vehicles/bases/PDA/the Aurora. I'm pretty sure it's intentional and not a glitch, though I could be wrong. Falling through the floor however...is not normal. I can't really recommend a fix for that, since it seems to be a freak accident that the game can just encounter, perhaps an entity for the floor layer didn't load properly and you just fell through? I have fallen through the floor a few times myself, though not in the Aurora.

EDIT: Seems a great deal of people have encountered the "helium voice." It apparantly applies to other sound effects too, and not just the aforementioned soundclips. Judging by this, it seems to in fact be a glitch whereby the sound file plays for the same amount of time it normally would, but at an increased/slowed speed. This will probably be fixed by the time the full game releases at any rate, and is not too big a deal in itself.
