Morning Everyone, After reading around a bit I have seen that a lot of people are experiencing crashes recently. I bought the game yesterday and have 7 hours total of play time. I will document my play through and when I started experiencing issues. I am not running the experimental branch.

Hours 1 - 3: Game ran perfectly, great FPS and was having a blast!
3-4 : Started experiencing the odd hang up, some FPS issues and the odd texture pop. Restarted the game and it worked well for half hour or so.
4-5 : Hang ups getting worse, Texture and Terrain popping, Restarting the game would fix the issues for 10 minutes before it re-appearing.
5-6 : Starting the game would run fine, After about 5-10 minutes it would start hanging up, At around the 10 minute mark it does one large hang up, After waiting it would un-hang and run fine for about 10-15 seconds then crash. This happens EVERY time I run the game now.

In my Play Through I have the Seamoth, a base with 2 foundations, 2 tubes and 2 storage containers (Its tiny), My system specs well over the recommended settings

5 Crash reports (3 from yesterday and 2 this morning): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2spfOvsfirdeFNhalRRRmZqdkU/view?usp=sharing
My save game folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2spfOvsfirdWnNNLUVBbk5iNHc/view?usp=sharing

Edit: More information! So as per the below posts, I tested by leaving without the Seamoth, It crashed even quicker this time! For full testing from the starting pod I tried going north, south, east and west from the pod and the results did not change.

As I only downloaded the game yesterday I have had no updates, no old data or anything. This is what I am hoping should allow you to pin down the issue a bit faster :)
Thanks!

P.S Game has great potential! :)

You on experimental, or the regular version? Regular is IIRC build 40062

You could try moving Subnautica to an SSD (see my sig) if you've got one.

I think the Seamoth has a bug though as lots of people have similar issues, and on my newest save, I purposefully haven't built a Seamoth, and everything is fine.

If you leave your seamoth behind and don't use it (stay away from it), does your game run fine for extended periods?

Updated the main post for clarification that I am not running the experimental branch, I am 40062. I will run around without the Seamoth for a bit to see what happens. The game is running on an SSD :)

Edit. main post updated with non-seamoth run

Alright. Eh. I'd say, you've got your old save backed up (in your Google Drive) so, switch to experimental, and clear your cache (directions in my sig). Then post back with any further problems if / as they occur.

Cache cleared, Experimental downloaded and things seem to be running smoothly, been playing for a good few hours, I was watching the memory limit and it never went over 1200mb's GC cleared it back to 700 so does not appear to be leaking memory at all either. Hopefully the devs pin it down soon, Thanks for the help 0x6A7232 , Although was more wanting to help the devs then get myself running seems that it all worked out
