For goodness sake, stop asking. The Devs have repeatedly told us that the updates don't always get out on time, as there's a lot that needs to be taken care of. Wait patiently and it'll come.

If you're so desperate for new content, try Experimental mode.

I think it will be the devs Christmas present to us. The Lost River base is still incomplete and it is there where we will find we are infected. Presents, and Subnautica.

Keep in mind that it's the holiday season, so game developers everywhere are busy pounding their heads into walls because their grandmothers won't stop nagging them about how they should have become doctors and why don't you have kids yet and wishing, desperately, that they could be back at working in the studio instead of here right now.

We're working very hard on the next update for Steam platforms, but it's one of our biggest yet so it taking longer to polish than we thought.

Hopefully soon.

Just kidding, getting excited for the update and hoping that some of the performance issues will be fixed this update. I think I'm more excited for subnautica update than I am for Christmas.

40062 is the current stable build. This should change on Thursday, when the next update is planned. You can keep an eye on the roadmap for V1.0, which is since past Wednesday set for May 2017.
